Gravestone of Joel Barnett Winstein, August 5, 1946 (Denver, Colorado) - October 31, 2008 (San Juan, Puerto Rico). A colored graphic image of a Dia de los Muetros-esque skeleton riding a bicycle accompanied by a dog surrounded by colorful flowers appears on the bottom two-thirds of the stone. Weinstein was famously the publisher of Mississippi Mud magazine and wrote often about the Puerto Rican art scene.
